Why November in Tulum Feels Different From Any Other Time of Year
There’s something different about November. The year isn’t over yet, but you can already feel it coming to a close. Enough time has passed to know what worked, what didn’t turn out the way you hoped, which relationships changed, which decisions you’re still putting off, and how much of yourself you’ve given trying to keep everything moving.
And then December arrives.
Commitments. Family. Travel. Deadlines. Celebrations. Plans for the year ahead. Another list of things to do.
That’s why, over time, I’ve started to see November differently.
Introducing the first pillar: The Authentic You
This is a space to remember who you are and reconnect with your inner power
What if I told you that you don’t need to become someone else… just awaken to who you already are?
The Authentic You Portal is the first portal of The Evo Collective. It’s an immersive experience designed to reconnect you with yourself on a deep and honest level. Over 14 days, you’ll combine Kundalini Yoga practices with a series of simple yet powerful mindset-shifting experiments that invite you to look within, question your patterns, and activate your authenticity.
This first module marks the beginning of a transformative journey. Here, we plant the seeds of personal growth: clarity around your values, self-awareness, and presence. Because only from that solid foundation can you make aligned decisions, feel at peace with who you are, and open up to the potential already within you.
To me, it feels like a small window between everything that has happened and everything that is about to begin.
And that’s one of the reasons we chose this time of year to return to Tulum for Sacred Radiance 2026.
I don’t believe we need to escape our lives in order to feel better. But I do believe that every once in a while, we need some distance from them. Because it’s incredibly difficult to recognize your own patterns while you’re still running inside of them.
When you wake up every day thinking about your to-do list, work, family, messages, decisions, and responsibilities, you can spend months functioning perfectly well while still feeling deeply disconnected from yourself.
And I think a lot of women know that feeling.
Nothing necessarily has to be wrong. Your life doesn’t have to be falling apart. Sometimes, there’s simply a part of you that knows it needs space.
Space to ask yourself how you’re really doing. Space to recognize what you’ve been tolerating. Space to listen to what you want now, not what you wanted three years ago. Space to rest without feeling like you have to earn it first.
For me, that’s where the real value of a retreat begins.
Tulum Is Beautiful. But You’re Not Coming Just for Tulum.
Of course, the setting matters. Waking up surrounded by nature, feeling the warmth, walking near the ocean, and changing the scenery you see every day can help pull us out of autopilot.
But it would be very easy to sell Sacred Radiance based on that image alone.
Tulum. A villa. Yoga. Beautiful food. Women gathering together.
And I don’t want to do that. Because you can book an incredible vacation in Tulum and come home exactly the same.
Sacred Radiance wasn’t created simply to give you a few beautiful days. It was created to give you the space to meet yourself again.
For five days, we step away from many of the distractions that usually consume our attention and begin exploring ourselves from different places: through the body, the breath, rest, reflection, and community.
We practice Kundalini Yoga. We experience sound healing. We share rituals and ceremonies inspired by traditions of the region. We eat together. We rest. We talk. We spend time in silence.
And we also make room for something I believe is essential: doing nothing.
Because not every moment of transformation needs to be filled with an activity. Sometimes clarity arrives precisely when we stop trying so hard to find it.
You don’t have to arrive exhausted, heartbroken, or in the middle of an existential crisis to give yourself permission to have an experience like this.
You can come because you’re doing well and want to feel more connected.
Because you’ve changed. Because you have questions. Because you want to meet women outside your usual circle. Because you want to reconnect with your creativity. Because you’re entering a new chapter or simply because you’ve spent too much time taking care of everything except yourself. So often, we wait until our bodies or our lives force us to slow down.
What if we didn’t have to wait until we reached that point?
We spend money on travel, clothes, dinners, technology, treatments, entertainment, and so many other things we enjoy and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
But when it comes to investing in our well-being, a different question often appears: Do I really need this? Maybe you don’t.
You don’t need a retreat to transform. You don’t need to travel to Tulum to meditate. You don’t need five days away from home to start listening to yourself.
But not everything valuable has to be absolutely necessary to deserve a place in our lives.
Sometimes we choose something simply because we know it will be good for us. Because we want to remember what it feels like to receive instead of always being the one who gives.
Because we want to experience something we would probably never create for ourselves within the rhythm of everyday life.
What Really Happens When Women Give Themselves Permission to Pause
There’s a part of Sacred Radiance that I’ve never been able to fully explain on a sales page.
It’s what happens between the scheduled experiences.
A conversation after breakfast. Another woman putting into words something you’ve been feeling for months but haven’t known how to express. Laughing with someone who was a complete stranger five days earlier. Hearing stories completely different from your own and somehow recognizing yourself in them. Feeling supported without having to explain every part of who you are.
Again and again, I’ve watched the community between women become one of the most meaningful parts of these experiences. Not because everyone arrives thinking the same way. Quite the opposite. We arrive with different ages, stories, relationships, careers, insecurities, and seasons of life.
But for a few days, we get to stop relating to one another only through our roles.
That’s why Sacred Radiance happens in November. Not because there’s a perfect time to transform. There isn’t.
It happens in November because I love the idea of creating an intentional pause before stepping into the intensity of the end of the year. Five days to stop running and to return home with a little more clarity and a deeper connection to yourself.
Sacred Radiance 2026
This November, we’ll return to Casa Coyote in Tulum for another edition of Sacred Radiance.
Five days of Kundalini Yoga, sound healing, ceremonies, wellness practices, nourishing meals, nature, community, and intentionally created spaces designed to help you slow down and reconnect with yourself.
I don’t want to promise you that five days will change your entire life.
I think that would be unfair to promise.
But five days can give you a perspective you haven’t been able to find inside your everyday routine.
They can start a conversation with yourself that you’ve been avoiding for a long time, they can introduce you to people you might never have met otherwise, they can remind you of something you had forgotten.
And sometimes, that’s enough to begin changing a lot of things.
Sacred Radiance doesn’t have to be the trip you take because you need to escape. It can be the gift you choose to give yourself because you’re ready to meet yourself again.
