This time, I want to dedicate this space to something we’ve been deeply exploring in our retreats: the ability to create a new perception of ourselves. It has been such a powerful tool for so many people, and I’d love to share a bit of it with you.
THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION ABOUT HEALING RETREATS
I think one of the biggest misconceptions people have about healing retreats is that you need to be completely lost before you’re “allowed” to seek one out.
There’s this idea that retreats are only for people going through a massive breakdown, heartbreak, or crisis and while those people absolutely deserve support too, that’s honestly not the full picture of who ends up in these spaces.
Some of the people who benefit the most from this work are the ones who appear perfectly okay on the outside.
They’re the people who continue showing up for everyone else. The ones who are productive, capable, dependable, constantly moving. The people who know how to keep functioning even when their nervous system is exhausted.

They only ask if they’re managing.
And honestly, I think that’s usually the moment when retreats like this begin calling people in.

It’s about stepping outside of the noise long enough to finally hear yourself again.

Honestly, one of the most beautiful parts about a healing retreat in Tulum is that the environment itself already begins shifting something within you.
